Math This week we wrapped up our coordinate geometry unit and began moving into addition and subtraction. Students worked hard to apply what they know about number sense while practicing their basic facts, building confidence and fluency that will support our upcoming learning. It was great to see students staying focused and pushing themselves, even when the work felt challenging. Physical Education In gym, students practiced skipping and had fun challenging themselves with new tricks. Skipping is a great way to build coordination and endurance, and there was lots of perseverance and encouragement as students tried new skills and celebrated each other’s successes. Art We ended the week with a watercolor art lesson, creating polar bear portraits. Students focused on blending colors and experimenting with layering to create soft textures and depth. Each piece turned out beautifully, and it was wonderful to see students take creative risks with blending and feel proud of their work.
