What a wonderful way to end our Grade 5 year! It has been a busy and memorable final week together. This week we... Finished and presented the books we have been working so hard on! Got our tie dye shirts signed and performed our routine at the Grade 5 Farewell (and did an amazing job!) Added the finishing touches to our paintings! Enjoyed spending quality time outdoors (despite the mosquitoes!), a relaxing with a movie day, and helped clean and organize our classroom! Thank you to all of our students and families for making this such a fantastic school year. It has been a privilege to be part of your Grade 5 journey! I hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled summer. Best of luck to all of our students as they begin Grade 6—you are ready for this next adventure!

Announcements: We will be handing out our tie-dye shirts on Wednesday for the Grade 5 Farewell and clap out! On Thursday , we will be having a board game day! Students are welcome to bring a board game from home to play. Please make sure all games are   labeled with your child’s name. We had a fun and creative week in the classroom! We tie-dyed our own shirts, made bannock together with our buddies, created figurines with air dry clay, and worked so hard on our northern lights skyline paintings! Alongside all the fun activities, students worked hard to finish up many of their end-of-year tasks, including publlishing and presenting the books we wrote! It’s been wonderful to see their focus and effort as we wrap up the school year!
